the band

biography
Formed in June 2003, Red Museum was created, using ferocious guitars to write a batch of songs good enough to be recorded as the first album 'Red Museum'in October 2003.
The track "Charles Warren (Colonel Townsend)" then appeared on compilation CD of the best unsigned artists of 2003 "Fuel" released by Chromium Records. A huge achievement for a band only a few months old.
Only months later, Red Museum became one of the final 25 entrants to play Glastonbury festival, only to be squeezed out at the last minute.
Numerous gigs around the North West of England followed, with excellent performances at the Night & Day Cafe in Manchester and Southport Arts Centre in front of a packed 600 capacity, as well as good shows in the home town of Preston including a mammoth 2 and 1/2 hour set in the Old Black Bull.
Red Museum also appeared at the 'In the City' festival 2004.
Currently taking time away from the live scene to concentrate on sculpting a new sound.
